Have in mind that you can only pour boiling oil down the drain if the pipes are made of metal.
PVC pipes might melt and make a mess everywhere, and make the sink unusable until repaired, which would make it your problem.

there's nothing wrong with pouring vegetable oil down the drain actually.
only oils which solidify at room temperature (like lard or butter) cannot be poured down the drain
