Sounds good, but my regret is that I have played catch-up with the talented programmers and if I had just always focused on programming I'd have been much better at it. Most programmers are, of course, average. The best ones have been peogramming since they were children, I started at like 23.

I have a mostly useless but very interesting undergrad degree, and an MBA. The MBA was “worth it” in that people with MBAs love to hire other people with MBAs, so it opened doors to multiple opportunities to wear a suit and hang out with assholes. It wasn’t worth it because the path I ended up on was poisonous to my fucking soul—I spent a year or two just surprised to be making money, and then another seven years hating everything about my job and everyone involved in it. My last company finally went through a really ugly restructuring, during which I volunteered to be laid off.

Since then I’ve been retraining to do something completely different that I hope won’t make me want to kill myself.

High school. I just didn't see a point, I've lacked ambition since a very young age and as I've grown older I've realised that all that a better degree gets me is a higher percentage of taxation and perhaps a better result on the sexual market, but even then I'd have to settle for used goods.
