Fun fact. These guys appeared around the time where the crusaders started losing.
In the first ones where they were winning the normans heavily carried the entire thing and they were considered heathen by the rest of the crusaders. They were wearing geometric patterns, motiffs of nature and were calling the ancestors before battle instead of praying to god.
