It's not the UV that would kill it, your weed plant needs it, it's a tropical plant, but it would rather be the heat and lack of moisture caused by exterior conditions. Also to watch out for is the wet+obscurity conditions that would make it develop mold.
So it depends on the strain, some strains were designed to stand outside conditions, other strains need a quasi lab equipment to grow properly.

Don't bury the stem that's a sure way to give it a mushroom infections.
I believe - I'm not a specialist I just have a little green thumb - that if you give it sunlight and give it a bit of mild fertiliser (something natural like a little bit of wood ash and nettle manure) it will take a more regular shape... When you water it (not too much either because it's small) in your watering can, you can put a little ash and a little nettle that you let infuse in the water.

But what it mostly needs here is UV radiation, that's a surething.

also don't use unknown seeds, it's a gamble
for a beginner, buy feminized autoflower seeds
these are almost fool-proof, and they start to flower after 6 weeks of growth even if you give them 24 hours light
it needs light, frequent watering (but don't freaking drown it), and most importantly a well drained soil mix
buy a bag of cactus soil if this confuses you and use that

i dont like how it makes me feel so i dont want to grow it for myself.
it is not profitable to manufacture and distribute (id sell the yield of 1 or 2 plants for less than 100usd).
i am not into gardening either (if i was id grow p. cubensis instead).
