one time i applied to a job where i had to go through two separate technical interviews, one with a white (slavic i think) person and another with an indian
the first one went great, he seemed well impressed and i also felt like he asked me the relevant questions
the one with the indian consisted of dumb questions (all of which he had to repeat at least three times in his cryptic jeet accent that i couldn't decipher) and asking me to do some live coding, just to nitpick about stupid syntax mistakes like "there shouldn't be a semicolon there saar" despite my reasoning being completely sound. basically just testing my ability to rote learn the syntax rather than my actual skills
their boss was indian so i suppose he listened to his own kind and i got rejected
