In the new British movie 28 Years Later, the Swedish military is depicted as a bunch of incompetent buttmonkeys and the one surviving named Swedish character who joins the main protagonists is later unceremoniously killed off.

This is just another example of the contempt that Britroaches hold for continental Euros generally and Scandinavians in particular

At some point soldiers in horror movies just become an object to show how bad the situation is by showing how even the most disciplined and trained people would get killed.
