I'm intelligent but not educated. My origins are humble. I'm pretty sure the only guys from my area that did better than me all joined the military.

by consuming written online information daily, for years on end, and regurgitating the preformed thoughts of other people in response to the same repetitive topics, you are destroying your innate creativity. you post according to their standards, their sensibilities, with the same stereotyped answers, for a crumb of dopamine. this is why social media sites are battlegrounds. this is also why every online-addicted person is shy and timid, they constantly need a reference or consensus-derived action for every situation IRL

I'm unintelligent, but according to my video games I have high wisdom.

I am highly educated (I have degrees and know many things, including a lot of things people typically don’t) and, per the psych assessment that diagnosed me with ADD, of “high average” intelligence.

So while I grew up thinking I was an exceptional brain, I guess I am actually more like the king of mediocrities.

I’m okay with that. People who are obsessed with the idea of IQ and who use their own three-digit stats as their primary identity are in my experience almost always socially dysfunctional.

My brother is a literal genius, clinically and statistically, and he’s a psychosocial mess.

I think I am genuinely gifted.

I became a millionaire at 26 and am a doctor now. This was despite social services involvement as a child and an abusive single mum on benefits as a child. I never tried too hard or anything and was very unstable as a child due to abuse it just kind of came naturally and seems very normal.

My biggest regret in life is going to a great instead of downright elite uni. My grades and stuff were better than the average student at Oxford (I am UK and on holiday) but I didn't apply. There's also an awareness that while I'm realistically miles above average normgroid I'm still miles below billionaires and the real top tier people.
