Happened to me too, I used to live on the first floor and every morning they would hang out on our windows, walk loudly etc etc. Never really bothered me. But we had a neighbor above us, a crazy neet musician, one morning I was making breakfast and heard his window opening and him screaming loudly

I don't hate them but holy shit those poor fuckers let you witness some gruesome shits. Not a week ago I was sitting in a plaza eating some stuff when one of those was walking by slowly, his eyes's socket empty and the back of his skull visible.
Their nuptial parade and males competitions are funny to watch for the rest.

One time about 2 months ago I was walking and saw little blood drops on the ground and 3 meters from the beginning of the blood drops there was a pigeon shaking in puddle of his own blood. The thought that someone, probably a crow or another pigeon just stabbed him and left him to die made me a bit sad

i've had pidgeons

one day I entered the coop and there was a young dead pidgeon hanging out of one of the cells
blood was dripping down it's head and it got scalped
poor guy probably entered the wrong cell by accident (maybe he also used to be in the cell as hatchling) then got one of his feet stuck below on one of the cells gates, tripped and broke his ankle

they can be very cruel - but some are more (or less) cruler than others, they actually tend to have different personalities, which is bretty amazing considering their small brain (through a lot of it probably simply comes down to their body size determining their "status")
