I can't speak for all Nordic countries but here are some positives that I like about Sweden:
>high standard of living regardless of your social class, working class people in menial jobs like cashiers can still live a very decent life
>good access to broad healthcare, you pay around €20 for a visit to the hospital
>education is completely free in sweden (as in there's no tuition) and while studying you're eligible to take special student loans with very low interest
>beautiful nature and legal right to be in nature (for picking mushrooms, berries, camping, hiking etc) as long as you don't fuck shit up
>culture is pretty relaxed, if you work in a factory the CEO can be down talking shit with the regular joes on the factory floor, no need to mister/doctor/sir anyone
Used to be an incredibly high trust society as well but trust has obviously gone down the shitter as of late. We had a good run while it lasted I guess, now we're flexing our powers as a Humanitarian Superpower™ so we can show the world how effectively Somalis and Arabs convert taxpayer money into bombings and gang warfare.

I almost never visit the hospital (I'm turning 30 now and I've probably been there 4 or 5 times in my life) but I can imagine there's some Pareto principle going on where 20% of people eat up 80% of the hospital's resources. A colleague has a mother who works in healthcare and she knows of the regular horror stories of people calling 911 to request ambulance rides when they're just going to a regular checkup and stupid shit like that. Another colleague is a volunteer firefighter and he told me a story about how a gigantic fatass was stuck on the toilet and in the end half a dozen firefighers and some additional people bringing in specialized landwhale logistic equipment from a hospital two cities away had to show up, all and all this one fatass probably cost what I pay in taxes in 2-3 years because they were fat as fuck and got heart palpitations when trying to stand up from the shitter. I hate having to pay for retards like that but overall it's still nice knowing I could break my leg and still only pay €20 for my treatment.

Always look at full time employment numbers which are (slightly) harder to skew.
We have 75% employment rate of adults (which is high for the first world, about the same in Sweden we're talking about, whereas the US are 60%) but our unemployment is reported as 4.6% thanks to layers of pilpul on what constitutes "unemployment".

Even Malmö is pretty nice desu. Yeah it has it's bad areas but it's a big city and it's 15 minutes of train away from central Copenhagen. Malmö is right now going through some very heavy gentrification and a lot of it is thanks to Danes that think Copenhagen is too expensive to live in so they move to Malmö but still work and "live" in Copenhagen so to speak.
