Sprawl is fine as long as the center is urban. New York City has much more sprawl than LA or Miami, but we would still state that NY is more walkable than either.

Vienna is beautiful and the cultural life is pretty good there but the other ones in the top positions are really boring and not very nice overall.

It looks like a ranking made by bankers and engineers.
No French or Italian cities may rank high according to those criteria, yet I'd rather live in Paris or Milan 100 times more than in Perth or Calgary.
