i dont think there's any videos of them in action outside of this refuelling one.if i had to bet id say theyre flying with regular drop-tanks like the other planes

maybe on day 1 they flew without them for protection to take out air defenses but now the airforce just needs as many planes as possible as there's natural attrition due to intense use
