The second part is actually really important. Some first or second generation girls just have better value systems from American girls. I don't hate equal rights for women or any of that shit, but academic feminism has completely buttfucked the culture here.
My older sister is your typical LA white girl and it's crazy how, on one hand, she wants to be in a committed relationship and eventually marry a dude, but on the other hand, she wants to live an entirely independent life from him and essentially be comfortable with never seeing him for days at a time (regularly). It's like she doesn't understand what a committed relationship is and she thinks it's just a best friend that you get to fuck sometimes.
Then she's entirely blindsided when he cheats on her after they have a huge fight and desperately cheats on him to find her exit strategy. She literally won't leave the dude because, despite wanting to be an independent boss babe, is a literal child too dumb to build wealth herself.
