The human body is wetware and analog. Even our neurons are analog despite using electrical signals. Our "source code" is the DNA but needs an interpreter (ribosome) which makes proteins out of the code. Various proteins are enzymes that catalyses chemical reactions and help to construct other more complex biomolecules, including hormones and signalling molecules. These spread throughout the body to initiate or stop biological processes and in return creates a feedback loop all the way back to the DNA. Anyone who says biology is simple is an idiot.
