I don't really mind them. They mostly come through in the summer for camping and fishing so they aren't all that visible. If it weren't for them my town would be even poorer and shittier than it already is. Besides it can be fun to meet new people and ask where they're from and shill for little local overpriced businesses locals don't go to. We get a lot of people from Canada! Only thing that's bad is one or two of them drown or get bitten by otters each year but mostly I feel bad for them and their families when that happens.

Don't you have times of the year where tourists aren't so common? I can see how it would be troublesome if people are being rambunctious and crowding you out of your normal areas. I guess that's one good thing about our crazy parking and zoning. Even if you live in the city you probably won't have mobs of people around your home taking pictures and being loud and you can just go to the museum when tour hours are over. Most of my friends that moved away to the big city say they went to the big famous places once after they first got there and then hardly ever go unless someone is visiting them. Well I guess it's just a different situation, I hope conditions can improve for you!
