Somehow, I don't think we should get cocky. Dad's most recent comment on the matter was that he was concerned about some sort of dirty bomb being deployed.

Tactical Israel victory but strategic Israel failure
>Iran's regime is still there
>Greater Israel plan failed
>Iran exposed the Iron Dome's weakness
>Iran said they would close the Strait of Hormuz and 24 hours later Trump calls a ceasefire
>Enriched uranium got moved ahead of time
>Waste billions of US dollars

Iran has 90 million people and will rebuild, they will just get closer to China and Russia. Russia and Iran had a treaty on strategic partnership that was signed at the beginning of the year. Russians were proposing a clause when the treaty was being negotiate that would have obligated the parties to come to the defence of each other in case either of them is attacked. But Iran at that time demurred. That was because they wanted to put weight on the potential outreach to the United States, to resume the nuclear talks with the US and get some agreement with the US, and they thought that too close connection with Russia would not help them very much. With the Israel strikes and US bombings, all trust is broken.

now when everyone knows how weak the regime is, it's only a matter of time until it collapses on its own. It's actually smarter for Israel and the US to leave it here. Let the Iranians get the heads of their leaders instead.

Israel is slowly taking over Syria and with the current ceasefire this will result in Israeli ascendance and the suffering of most Iranians
That's what greater Israel is about, the suffering of those around them as a punishment for what they did to Israel with the Palestinians as the human sacrifice to their god

I went to /pol/ and the cope there was hilarious. Somehow Iran is winning hard even though the Ayatollah’s inner circle is being unalived one after another and Israel’s jets are flying back and forth in Tehran like passenger planes.

If they were weaker than ever then why did Israel accept a ceasefire and is now letting them rebuild. Israel was running low on defensive interceptors.

Also, you can do as much air strike as you want like what we did to Iraq in the Shock and Awe campagne however you need actual troops on the ground for a regime change and that risks destabilizing the whole country and region Iran has 4x the population of Iraq at the time of its war and it's more ethnically diverse than syria. Iran's terrain is like afganistan's but on steroids. in a protracted war, their complex terrain would draw out the war much longer. That would almost certainly lead to a massive refugee crisis, as millions flee a country that's has become a prolonged war zone. So think Iraq war but much worse and much harder to contain. Bigger population, harsher terrain and more organized military and paramilitary appartatus like the IRGC.

The US wont be able to topple iran without an iraq tier land invasion and mobilization
That would ultimately implode american economy and cause a vietnam tier situation that would ultimately collude the end of the american empire.
They also penetrated the iron dome and depleted much of israeli interceptive missile stock, which is 1000% deoendant onth us Gifting it to them
If iran shots as many missiles as they can produce (they have capacity to produce for ages) they can easily turn israel into a dustbin.
Besides the uranium and nuclear instalations are mostly intact

because the mission was complete, the IDF stated its goals directly from the start

>Severely damage the ballistic missile program

IDF: Launching Operation "Am Kalavi" (rising lion) to destroy the Iranian regime's nuclear program and severely damage long-range missile firing and manufacturing capabilities. Dozens of military targets were attacked in various areas of Iran in the opening strike.

Military command targets, commanders, military targets, headquarters, and nuclear sites were attacked.

The alarms that were activated throughout the country - not due to missile firing but to prepare the public for the possibility of missile firing soon.

The IDF identified a convergence of 3 components:
1. The Iranians are racing to develop a nuclear device, possessing enough enriched uranium for 15 nuclear bombs within a few days, Iranian scientists are working to assemble the various parts to build the nuclear bomb. The project is at such a stage that if we do not act now, we will know less every day.
2. The Iranians have thousands of ballistic missiles - with a plan to double and triple the number in the coming year, but this alone is an existential threat regardless of the nuclear threat.
3. Proliferation of weapons and ammunition to proxies in the region.

"We are in a strategic window of opportunity. We have reached a point of no return, there is no choice but to act now."

The IDF is preparing for an operation lasting at least several days or weeks, including the expectation of heavy Iranian barrages, and says: Full dialogue is underway with the US military.

The IDF clarifies that they are not working to overthrow the regime in Iran, but rather that the target is military infrastructure and nuclear sites - and according to the best estimates, the opening strike in Iran was very surprising, in a scope and in places that the Iranians did not expect.

"At the end of the operation - there will be no nuclear threat"

There is no chance it's going to collapse on its own. This just further emboldened the people's hatred of Israel and US. Our nationalism spiked after 9/11. They would also see turning on the regime as submitting to Israel, which they consider Satanic especially in light of its genocide on Gaza.
