It's pretty obvious what is and isn't scripted in Top Gear. Stuff like moving James' tent out over the water during the Burma special was obviously scripted, but other stuff like offloading the vehicles during the jungle episode was not. They legit didn't know how they were even going to get the trucks off the ferry at first. James got his head bashed open with a winch line too, that wasn't scripted.
