I learned to embrace the easterness when I realized everything from Japan and Singapore to Nepal and Afghanistan is put in the same "Asia" bag. So sharing the region with Moldova and Ukraine doesn't seem that bad in comparison

Finland is literally Nordic nation.
We are only Eastern European country that Communism didint eat.
We also used to be part of original Baltics before ww2 but later it has become to mean only those who Soviet Union ate.

To be honest I don't get the "We're not Eastern Europe, we're Central Europe" stuff. Being the latter doesn't disqualify you from being the former. It's like saying Sweden isn't Western Europe, it's Northern Europe.
