Austrians are a bit of a NPC but not nearly as autistic as anything North of it and a lot more civilized than anything East of it. It is basically the perfect country so it is only natural that the universe would try to balance things and unleash the most illiterate group of people on them. They are not nearly as demoralized or cucked as their German brothers so I wonder where they'll end up.
