A 51-year-old man with a Hebrew neck tattoo was arrested after crucifying a Christian pastor in Arizona and placing a crown of thorns on his head.

Adam Christopher Sheafe admitted to planning the ritualistic killing of 14 Christian leaders across 10 states.

Obsessed with the Old Testament and militantly opposed to the New, Sheafe says his actions were part of a mission he called “Operation First Commandment.”

He was caught en route to crucify two Catholic priests in Sedona.

This guy was an anti-Christian extremist motivated by JEWISH religious hatred. Nowhere is this in any of the news reports about him. He horribly killed a man who was by all accounts a decent, selfless pastor.

The fact that he does not appear to be ethnically Jewish (he was raised as Christian) is irrelevant. If a White person who was raised as a Christian suddenly converted to Islam and started murdering Christian priests, would FOX News not describe them as being motivated by Islamic religious fanaticism?!

The Jewish religion is a hateful, extremist religion. It is filled with religious holidays that celebrate massacres of whole peoples, including women and children. The story of the crucifixion of Jesus absolutely fits with the historical pattern of Jewish hatred and revenge.

In the Jewish media, only Christians and Muslims can be violent religious extremists, never Jews. When a man is motivated by Jewish religious hatred and obsessions to commit torture-murder against Christian pastors, they leave the obvious, self-confessed, branded-by-Hebrew-tattoos Jewish component out of all the stories. "Judaism? Never heard of it!"

>Very based. Old testament is true christianity.
>Paul describes Israel as an olive tree and says that “some of the branches were broken off,” while these Gentile converts “were grafted in their place to share the richness of the olive tree” (Rom. 11:17). He reminds his Gentile readers, “They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast only through faith. So do not become proud, but stand in awe. For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you” (20–21). Paul is clearly not describing the wholesale replacement of one covenant people with another, nor is he describing two separate plants, one Jewish and one Gentile (it’s hard to understand how anyone could read the epistle to the Romans and come away with that message). Instead, he’s saying he continues to prune and maintain the olive tree, the People of God that began with Israel. With the arrival of Christ and the formation of the Church, you have not the disregarding of Israel, but the pruning: those Jews who reject Christ are cast off, and those Gentiles who accept him are grafted in.
Every aspect of Christianity rejects dispensationalism, from the very beginning it's inherently anti-Christian

Also Galatians which makes it clear that the church is the Israel of God.
Also Paul says that not all who are of Israel are Israel (in other words, being Jewish of the flesh does not mean you are part of the Kingdom)
Even in the Old Testament there already is foreshadowing of all this with Isaac and the children of the promise, not the flesh, Abraham's seed being of the promise, and all that.
These are just a few examples of how dispensationalism contradicts the Bible. There are many other examples too.

How about this?
Paul never said that the Church replaced Israel. Romans 11 literally warns Gentiles not to be arrogant and says God hasn't rejected His people.

The actual verse you're talking to:
>Galatians 6:16
>Peace and mercy be upon all who walk by this rule, and upon the Israel of God
The meaning it's not clear by the text alone. Scholars think it refers specifically to Jewish believers, not the whole Church. Again, the idea that the Church is the “true Israel” only really gained traction after 100 AD.

What a stupid retarded theory. That makes literally no sense at all in the context of everything else that Paul ever said.
Why would you ever listen to these gay scholars

Jesus Himself told them that the Kingdom would be taken from them.
"Replacement" is not the right word because it still is the same Kingdom but it no longer is exclusive to the nation of Israel. Romans makes this clear.

Romans 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob.

What kind of mental gymnastics are at work here to twist that verse and claim it doesnt mean what it actually means?

What do you think it means? It is one tree and those who rejected Him are cut off, so they are not Israel anymore, regardless of their genetic lineage.
This is not hard to understand. Paul makes it very simple.

Oh and like I said earlier, all of this is foreshadowed in the Old Testament by the way. This didn't just come out of nowhere all the sudden. Isaac was of Abraham's seed by the promise.

In all fairness Arizona has been infamous for being home to some of the craziest people in the country and is renowned for being an international crime hub. Timothy McVeigh infamously loved and spent tons of time in Arizona before the bombing.
Also fun fact: Steven Spielberg grew up in Phoenix.

Matthew 21:43 does say the Kingdom will be taken and given to a nation producing its fruits.
>Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation producing its fruits

That’s not the same as saying: "Israel is permanently replaced by the Church." That interpretation came later.

Even Paul, writing after Jesus, is careful in Romans 11 to say Israel isn’t rejected, and he warns Gentile believers against being arrogant.

Romans 11:1 says:
>I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? Far from it! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

It even calls unbelieving Jews beloved for the sake of the fathers, see Romans 11:28:
>In relation to the gospel they are enemies on your account, but in relation to God’s choice they are beloved on account of the fathers

Paul talks about branches broken off but not destroyed, he says they can be grafted in again if they don’t persist in unbelief. That doesn’t sound like a total cutoff.

>>212157229
Sure, Jesus says the Kingdom would be taken from them and given to a people producing its fruits.
>Matthew 21:43
>>Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation producing its fruits

He doesn’t say Israel is erased or that God’s covenant is abolished. Romans backs that up: the Kingdom is expanded, not replaced. Gentiles are grafted in, but Israel isn’t thrown out. Paul is clear in Romans 11:29:
>for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

Yes of course they can. No one said otherwise.
You are arguing against something that no one claimed.

You are not arguing rationally.

The apostle Paul taught the early churches that God’s covenants with Israel do not belong to the church and will yet be fulfilled. Consider the following clear teaching from Romans 11 which answers the question, “Hath God cast away his people?”

>Paul answers the question, “Hath God cast away his people?” with an emphatic expression of negation, “God forbid.”
Paul proves that God has not permanently cast away Israel by the fact that there is presently a remnant, of which he is a member (Ro. 11:1-5). The nation Israel is preserved before God through the believing remnant. This has always been the true Israel (Ro. 9:6-8).
The present fall of Israel has a divine purpose, that of bringing salvation to the Gentiles, and Israel’s fall is not permanent but will end in their fulness (Ro. 11:11-12).

>The same Israel that has been cast away will be reconciled (Ro. 11:15).
Israel is likened to an olive tree. Branches have been broken off, but the tree remains (Ro. 11:17-24). When Israel ceases to abide in unbelief, they will be saved or “graffed into their own olive tree.”

>Israel’s present blindness will only last until the end of the church age “until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in” (Ro. 11:25).

>Israel will be saved at the coming of Christ and God’s covenant will be fulfilled in them (Ro. 11:26-27). Paul gives a general reference to the New Covenant which is God’s promise to convert Israel and forgive her sin and give her a new heart of obedience (Jer. 31:31-34; 32:38-40). In that day, “there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness” (Zec. 13:1).

I already explained this to you.
It is not a "replacement" so stop saying that. Israel is the church. The church is Israel.

God's covenant is not abolished. God's covenant is fullfilled in Christ.
The Jews, like everyone else, can either accept that or reject it. Those who reject it are cut off.
Stop being disingenuous. This is not hard to understand.

Fair enough. My point was just to push back against the idea that Israel was permanently replaced or that unbelieving Jews are no longer “His people” in any sense. Romans 11 makes it clear that even in unbelief they’re still called beloved for the sake of the fathers and that God’s gifts and calling are irrevocable.

>>212157409
You're saying “Israel is the Church”, but that IS a theological interpretation, not something Jesus or Paul explicitly said. That concept developed after 100 AD, once the Church had become mostly Gentile and separated from Jewish believers.

I say it again, Romans 11 doesn’t say “the Church is Israel.” It says Gentiles are grafted in among the remnant of Israel, not that they become Israel. Paul still calls ethnic Israel “His people”, even in unbelief.

If we’re serious about what the text actually says, then it’s not blindness, it’s caution against reading later ideas back into Scripture.

>>212157447
I’m not denying that Christ is seen as the fulfillment of the covenant in Christian belief. What I’m questioning is the idea that Israel, as a people, has been fully and permanently cut off.

Paul clearly says otherwise in Romans 11. He writes that God has not rejected His people and even calls them beloved for the sake of the fathers. He also describes their future return if they do not persist in unbelief.

This is not about rejecting or accepting doctrine. It’s about what the text actually says, and Paul leaves room for Israel to remain part of God’s ongoing purpose.

A lot of Papalists are also Zionists now too like that Bishop Barron guy on youtube. He even said that Jews can go to heaven without Jesus because they follow Jewish law or some vague so-called "Judeo-Christian morality" (whatever that is supposed to mean).
All of this contradicts the Scriptures. Jesus says

Appreciate the responses. I’m not confused. I understand that individuals, including Jews, can be grafted back in through belief. My point throughout has simply been that Romans 11 presents a tension, not a total cutoff. Paul acknowledges unbelief but still calls them beloved and warns Gentiles not to grow arrogant.

You may see rejection, Paul sees a mystery and a future restoration. That’s all I’ve been trying to say.

Anyway, I’ll leave it there for now. Thanks for the discussion, and good night.
