I just finished reading Taras bulba by Nikolai gogol, if you don't know it's a book about cossacks and conflict between Ukrainians and poles there are themes of xenophobia towards catholics, Jews, muslims, and Turks.
In the book the author keeps mentioning how beautiful black hair is on both men and women on several occasions, my question is do the Slavs find Black hair to be the most attractive generally?

Is this why putinstanians like to call Ukrainians hohols?
