Correct. It is food but is not 'cooking'. It's anologous to eating a raw fruit such as a mango or apple. You might have the best, tastiest, juiciest apples but eating it raw is not cooking and crucially, REQUIRES NO SKILL on the part of the food preparer (I won't even call the person making a sushi a 'chef'. I used to like sushi but my city is so infested with mediocre sushi places that are incredibly shit and expensive that i just fucking hate it now.
