Believing inanimate objects have an essence or spirit is one of the least regressive religious beliefs

I tried to get into Shintoism but the Kojiki was literally just "Some goddess gave birth to the fire god and because he is the fire god her pussy burst into flames, killing her. Out of her shit, piss and puke these islands were formed". At first glace folk religions like Asatru seem alluring but that allure evaporates quickly once you get to the parts where Loki gets fucked by a horse or the Freyja dwarfbang.

How can i care aobut so called 'folk religions' that are BS reconstructions from like 2 sources 500 years and 25 granny songs that where heavily reconstructed in 1899 but some nationalistic autists.
When we have real autism with 125,000 pottery fragments and 100 cosmologies just 1500 miles south

Maybe they are alive
I think of humans, alive as they are, concerned with their short lives, observing life based on their shortsighted cause and effect. They are alive because they can smell their own farts.

Then I think of trees, alive as they are, "concerned" with their lives as a tree exist, unaware but influenced by evolutionary cause and effect.

Then I think of a mountain, alive is it is, unconcerned with their immortal existance, it being the cause and the effect, their undiscirnable long-term goals branded non-existant by the fart-things dying in its peak. Atop the mountain, the fart-things feel like they accomplished something, but are too dumb to understand what.

I dont blame primitive people for thinking that way. the collective intelligence of a inanimate information processing system say like a rock in an environment will still be infinitely more 'intelligent' hen the human mind as a information-processing entity. If this where not the case humans simply would not experience natural mortality. the simpel truth of material human sufferings in a sense is the ever present evidence of our own tiny small and closed off model interacting with other models which so vastly outpaces that at best we are always in some existential turmoil. All human meaning making involves symbolic matter manipulation like picking up a rock or breaking it to symbolism to there humane system that they have 'mastery of the rock' but aptly in such symbolic systems the so called 'defeated' larger system can still be manipulated n its broken form to kill the human effortlessly because again the human domination or subjugation within the overall model is a symbolic label with no actual reverberating effects on the physicality. While human are good at framing, framing is not real.

Plants and humans are separeted by two billion years of evolution, they went down the path of producing their own food thus never having to move to survive, sometimes I think if it's better to be a plant
