Generational wealth historically increased your sexual viability and ensured that your children had far higher chances of surviving, thus your bloodline would become more preeminent.
Currently richfags and especially middleclassfags are getting massively outbred by poorfags and said poorfags aren't dying in droves due to welfare and modern medicine so it isn't really worth it.

Marry a woman with a similar mindset
Never have too many children just in case
Nurture a culture of frugality onto your relatives
Try to leave a good inheritance to your children (ideally under the trust format rather than easily accesible assets)

So they seek to make an even better world for their offspring
