how would you improve your country's administrative divisions?
Anonymous United States No.212223112 [Report]
by a series of technical nukes and political successions

japan's administrative divisions could be improved by creating new provinces. for example, korea province, formosa province, sakhalin province, manchuria province, singapore province, etc. it's really an easy solution.

Balkanize the entire shithole. The north and northeast are massive shitholes that only leech off the other regions.

ignoring natural geographic features when drawing lines on map is terrible idea. shikoku is poorly connected to honshu it does not make sense to group tokushima with keihanshin but not the western portion of the island. granted shikoku is also poorly connected to itself but what can you do without 500 miles of tunnels. also do the open ended lines imply ownership of kurils and sakhalin lol

how about having Rinköbing and Herning belong to Aarhus region?

>>212223847
>shikoku is poorly connected to honshu it does not make sense to group tokushima with keihanshin but not the western portion of the island.
it's the opposite. 4 prefectures in shikoku have no connection to each other because of mountainous landscapes, 3 of which except for Kochi have firm economic ties to the prefectures across the sea.
Anonymous United States No.212224252 [Report] >>212224398
>>212224098
economic ties, certainly, but that doesn't mean the administrative subdivisions should be laid out like that. can do a cross subdivision port authority if needed.

we have bridges.
of course they could stop working if some emergencies like huge earthquakes hit the region, but that is the time our army(JSDF) works instead of the normal logistics.

no rail connection via awaji island substantially decrease the bridges' effectiveness
and I am not trusting disaster response when more people were killed by the poorly planned evacuations around the nuclear plant on 3.11 than would have died from staying

would be built if necessary.

doesn't have to do with transportation.

keked with the horizontal borders in the 16th century.
it's based when various regional peoples have developed their own states respectively and show respect to it.

in our case, every municipality was defined by the country at once in the past and no longer represents the modern human activities, because of the rapid changes of demographics in the last century.

typical urbanization.
people have gathered to a few cities and their surroundings, and this tendency is still ongoing.
some prefectures have begun to work as residential areas of the adjacent prefectures.
it is inefficient to have different municipalities in such places.

You are mentally ill and obsessed. The northeast is not blacker than the rest of the country or lazier or afraid of some secession that you imagined in your head. The whole scenario only makes sense in a very disturbed mind divorced from reality. So why did you pick them to be your boogieman?

For you macacos that's a lot of money. But even so, those gibs add up when you have literally millions of these subhuman leeching off the state.

>And learn how to read, those people do work but not in CLT jobs
That's the fucking point, more than half of you are unemployed lazy niggers.

Literally every other region hates you. You contribute nothing to the country, only leech and migrate to other regions to commit crimes.

Kek you sound like someone from Rio or the Amazon north trying to stay under the radar by hating somebody else. Very transparent.
