>>212237058You're either prepubescent or don't live in Serbia (like most Serbian leftists), there's no other explanation for this sort of cluelessness. How can you explain away Merkel's support for Toma Diploma over Borhan Tadiqi since 2008? Vucic is pro Russian because some pro Russian tabloids support him, lmao?
I think it's pretty easy to understand that, to come to power, SNS played a two pronged strategy. Technically three if you include demoralisation and voter suppression. But the first prong is absorbing a huge chunk of DS and running on a so called legalist, self admittedly pro European platform. The second is absorbing basically all previously Radical, DSS and SPO cadre and having them run a pro Russian campaign in locales where they have been previously successful. This worked marvelously because big tent movements don't need to be ideologically consistent, the term "spin dictatorship" exists for a reason after all. Throwing them all into one camp, either EU or Russia, seems reductive at best and malicious at worst. In the case of leftists like you it's because you like to paint narratives and revise history in your favour obsessively. Russia has almost zero geopolitical influence in the Balkans btw. Popular support, sure, but ZERO kompromat on the institutions. This is just an irrefutable fact, when you blame Russia for your own failures it's just a projection of your own incompetence and unwillingness to compromise one inch with the majority (far) right political culture among Serbs of all generations, so you seethe at us and call us inferior while sweating behind your keyboard instead.
