does your culture have an expectation of taking care of your parents once they get old? it's a big thing here and the primary motivation for having children

yes
/pol/ is currently half retards screeching about how you're a traitor if you put them in a nursing home (which are mostly quite nice despite the retard memes) and half retards screeching with glee that they will do that to their parents for not coddling them even more than they already do
and zoomers are mainly the latter now because they were raised to act like fucking niggers, just like /pol/ and actual niggers
but most people take care of their parents despite all internet propaganda

No.
It's quite the opposite here.
Old people generally refuse help from their children even if it means struggling alone or living in a senior home.
My parents are 77 and 81. Both live in a fancy elderly home (picrel) and they refuse help from me and my siblings because "don't waste your time on us".
It's all about being independent. Same reason we move out at 18 and over 50% of all homes are single person homes.

Nope. Like the other anon said, the old fucks don't want help. Too much pride. They prefer elderly care homes or senior living areas.

When your parents start needing help to use the toilet you send them to this old people hotel that is driven by profit and they will have immigrants that can't speak Swedish wipe your parents asses and sometimes abuse them when no one is looking and you will go visit them maybe every other month if you remember to. You tell everyone around you that you don't visit them more often because it's so le heart breaking to see your parents old and weak with a failing memory but in reality you are just lazy and heartless like most Swedes and you're just counting the days until you get your inheritance.

No, in the past you would move out of your parents house and leave them be. But now with the house market being in the toilet less and less people can afford to move out resulting in them kicking out their parents once they retire

They always beg not go back or they act stupid.
Doesn't work on me though, a call and 5 minutes later the police puts them back where they belong.

If they say that, probably the ailments they have are not that severe.
So that also mean good healthcare.
Here people at those ages can barely move, are hunched and need canes.
Not to mention many have diabetes, cancer and osteoporosis already in their 60s.

I tried helping my dad with grocery runs and cleaning his old house but he literally told me "försvinn för helvete och låt mig dö i fred" (go away for fucks sake and let me die in peace) so I did that. Just made sure a welfare check was done once a month until he died in 2018. He was 83 and severely alcoholic.

Me and my cousins and uncle emptied the house after and we removed over 3500 empty bottles of vodka and whisky. Some over 40 years old.

I'm not exactly sure what the exact legal status here is, but the general assumption is that if an old person is somewhere, at home, severally ill and he can't move and take care of himself, and nobody close takes care of him, then he is pretty much dead. Nobody from "the state" is going to just take him to a retirement center.
At least that is the assumption, maybe it's changed a bit recently but I doubt it.

In Romania, I remember there was a proposal a few years ago to give an amount of money to people who take care of elderly family members.

That's such bullshit.

A trailer park resident in Alabama is much richer and has a higher standard of living than a nurse or some similar professional in my country, that's why people go to America and work cleaning houses despite having a college education, often times.

Actually, all of these retirement homes are ran buy private companies owned capitalist investment firms. They're still paid with tax money, though. This ensures that the care id as shitty as it can be and that as much tax money as possible is moved away from Sweden (there is no cap on profits)
