Same reason as why people thinks about le white liberals in america when most of the lib electorate is black
Academic type Latinx are whiter, lighter classes are whiter, therefore progressive type thought is more seen represented by these types
However the Chud/racist type Latinx is also mostly of the white kind butless so academic/pr class just like how the most chuded Americans are white prodestsnts in the south living next to blacks
Nonetheless the brown types attract more attention for obvious reasons
