How do you define "left wing views"? I honestly don't think ever seen anything insightful coming from left wing people. The vast majority of them just post low effort slop about "capitalism" etc online. David Graeber might be the only one I found insightful. The rest of them seem to be just socially downward mobile bitter people really into third worldism because of various historical and ethnic grievances. Also disproportionately high number of troons and autists. Left wing people online might be the dumbest group of people I've encountered overall. I don't say this in a typical "everyone who disagrees with me is just dumb" way, it is just you kind of have to be dumb to enjoy this low effort slop posting

That's postmodern anti-structural liberalism. The classical left is a part of modernity and with its grand narrative deeply anti postmodernity.

There is no sense, no deeper meaning or constructive dialogue in postmodernity. Just the "desolation of power or privilege". Thats why everyone is "losing their mind".

But that time frame and movement seems to be on its death bed atm.
