>>212326774>What would you say is the spirituality or pattern of thought that replaced religion with the common ethnic French population?>In other words what do French normies believe in?it feels weird having to explain it to another european because i believed all europeans were the same about this, but no one thinks about religion, spirituality, life after death, etc. We don't care, it's completely out of our minds. The general feeling is total indifference to this sort of stuff. Anybody slightly spiritual is a minority. There is no large spiritual trend among french people that replaces christianity.
If people feel attracted to this sort of subject, they naturally gravitate towards christianity, very specifically catholicism, because we understand that it's the religion we used to believe in, and it's everywhere. We still have crosses everywhere, churches are part of our background and architecture and we maintain them well even if they are empty. I mean we were literally christians before we were french so it's hard to take it out, and it's not like anybody is trying anyway. The animosity of atheists only exist in christian countries like the USA. Atheists don't exist here
