Viking dog, the original ancestor of the Corgi breed and just a small little guy capable of arctic winters and roaring storms at sea.

The Swedish name is "Västgötaspets" and yeah, the only true Swedish dog. And apparently it hasn't changed at all since the Vendel and Viking period since they have found remains in burials with identical bone structures. Family, herding and ship dogs.
My family had two growing up. Both lived to be 15+ years old.

deerhounds usually live around 8-11 years and atleast ours didn't have health problems until they were 9ish
