People here are cold and distant. They are passive aggressive. They will smile at you while being hostile at the same time. People here constantly bitch about loneliness but they never realize how off putting they look to strangers.

Ever notice how extremely online and unhinged posters are usually Canadian. It's the lack of sunlight; it definitely makes people crazy.

Not to mention everything here is as expensive as the states while we only earn half of their salary. We have a sense of superiority complex towards them despite making jack shit in our country,

Been a few times. Everyone knows about the milk in bags thing, but they also buy these clear plastic egg containers even though their eggs come in cartons like ours do. They really love their "our money smells like maple syrup" joke and you will hear it a hundred times if they find out you're foreign. If you don't play along they get upset so you have to sniff the money and say "huh weird it kinda does" and let them laugh at you if you don't want to hurt their feelings. They have these, like, I don't know that they're called but basically they're like big semi truck trains that go slow as hell and it sucks if you get trapped behind one. My friend got deported from Canada for working illegally and now it's a pain in the ass to get in there. They pay like eighty dollars for a single pack, not carton, of cigarettes. Those are all the facts I know about Canada from experience. It seems like a hellish existence but the scenery is nice.
