AMD has no answer to CUDA
They are so comically incompetent at software that they need geohot to bail them out with tinygrad, which is perpetually two more weeks away from being production ready

They actually are. All of their AI serves are literally GPUs running parallel
The calculation being done by AI Python scripts is essentially the same as the calculation being done by pixel shaders

Jensen himself will tell you they are not a GPU company anymore. Networking is one of their biggest moats against the competition. Nobody has anything in the same league as NVLink and SHARP.
If you go to their website you'll find that it's very hard to buy a Blackwell chip in isolation if you're a small company. They would rather sell you their compute + interconnect platforms.

They've positioned themselves extremely well for the whole AI craze and have no meaningful competition. And it will take enormous investments + time for anyone to truly challenge their monopoly.

Chips will be made specifically for AI models in the near future. Buy ASML and TSMC, not NVDA.
