I am very grateful to have been born in my homeland, the United States. Times are tough, but they will get better. We have to remember to appreciate the things we have. The lilies of the field, do they participate in flame wars on /int/? No.

Are you grateful to have been born in your home country?

Yes.
Could've been a lot worse, and I don't think it could get much better

You have nothing, your nation is dead and the founding fathers were Anglo supremacists who would spit on the hellish mutt creatures most americans are today

Some people think Brazil is a total shithole — and, yes, some parts of it are. But there are many places where it would have been much worse to have been born. So, yes, I am kind of grateful.

we have a lot of money

like I'm a very overqualified menial worker and that's shameful but I live a pretty luxurious life and I don't have the means for it. Even if being American is hellish because social mobility is abysmal, just the value of our currency makes being an average person pretty fucking awesome.

I've eaten fucking caviar, slurped down oysters and french champagne. I have top of the line gaming PC with 3 monitors. None of this makes any sense but here it is. The median income here might not be as good as it used to be, effectively, but it can give you a lot of comforts and distractions at least.
