The plastic bottle cap is unironically useful when driving, because you can just screw it off with one hand, drink the liquid and screw it back on easily. With the old bottle you would have to juggle with the cap. And even in regular use it's no biggie, just hold the bottle sideways.

The EU is not some supernatural entity it is just being driven by the dominant countries that follow a left/green ideology. Maybe now that this progressive liberalism has lost in the USA things will change. Germany def did a mistake in my opinion with the migration thing but your country is even worse in fact it got even worse after you quit the EU funnily enough so I dont get this EU obsession. The UK was a big boy enough that the EU did not actually force anything on your country, you even kept your own currency so you need to take some responsibility
