I mean... he was still in them, and I was drunk and exhausted by that point - I'm not in great shape. I'm surprised I didn't just drop him ten steps in - it probably wasn't that much sand... Then again, last call was 1am, it's a 30 min walk home, and I didn't get in til about 3:30. I know I took his shoes off, and laced them together. That was probably a good 30 mins just on that bit of stupidity. It was only like 10 mins back to the playground, and it didn't take me that long to cut the blades down, I don't think. The sharps box was on my way home. I might have turned him into a sandcastle.

I never heard anything about it, so I assume he just kind of woke up on the beach, thought about his life choices for a bit, and decided not to get the police involved.
