I'd imagine eventually the government will implement a UBI funded via taxes on robotics and AI companies. Honestly, I'm debating if grabbing a union job in a soon to be automated industry is the best move. If I do that twice I'll be guaranteed a solid middle-class salary without working, and then eventually a UBI on top of that.
