With chatgpt you can learn a lot by getting it to explain sentences to you
Aren't there a few textbooks people recommend for Japanese? Why not start with those?

One week of learning Spanish at least an hour a day. I am not happy with the results, I can barely put sentences together and my pronunciation is not nearly perfect. They have a high density of small words that merge. I don't know if I've psyoped myself, but it seems to me that learning French and German went better. I still remember more German or French, I think, and definitely more Italian

Idk what you mean but it's probably not real. There will always be trial and error, throwing yourself into thousands of situations where you either sink or manage to swim, without the privilege of a list of steps you can follow to make the process appear straightforward.

He actually recommends the old linguaphone course for Japanese. But he doesn’t speak Japanese and the course breaks his own rules for a good course by using Romaji the whole time.

Fags are more likely to respond to a survey claiming they speak 50 languages when they are a weak A1 at best.

That’s why I just say I only speak English. If you undersell yourself it’s a boon, otherwise you come off as annoying. If I responded how this survey is listed I’d probably list like 6 languages, but since I’m not at a comfortable intermediate speaking level (consequence of years of dabbling) why would I?
