When racist men acknowledge any racial group as a "threat" to themselves, it's always in part out of jealousy. This is why they operate the way they do (eg pining for "white sharia", interracial cuckolding fixation despite claiming to hate it, insisting that Jewish people control the world even if they were calling them weak/inferior 5 minutes ago, etc). When racist men say they "respect" another racial group, it's because they look down on and want to usurp them (eg claiming to respect Asians, Japanese people in particular, but routinely fixating on the idea of "stealing" Asian women, bragging about flying to Asian countries to have sex with women and children, fetishizing hapa or "hapa-looking" women while mocking hapa men, bringing up their dick size relative to Asian men but complaining when black men do the same to them, etc). For whatever reason, racist and tribalist men don't actually respect "good behavior" in other men, only women (probably because they perceive it as making them easier to subjugate).
I've also noticed the men who complain the loudest about racism in their own spaces are actually the ones who fit the "model minority" category (or at least used to), eg Asian and Indian men. Men who've spent enough generations in the "threat" category literally brag and joke about conquering whatever race of men sees them as a threat. They bring up racism only when they perceive a specific point of gain, often in terms of money or petty topics (eg complaining of racism to get a deadline extension on a high school assignment), or to manipulate the women of their own races in certain directions), never as a plain social complaint or "vent". The only exceptions I've seen to this are the ones considered nerdy/weak within their own cultures.
I think all men quietly understand how this works, while women are more likely to take things at face value and get betrayed.
