in real life it's the shitskins who refuse to eat anything that is not kebab or macdonalds
try to serve them octopus or snail or animal liver/heart etc they start making noises
not even exaggerating one time i saw a black woman coworker make a high pitched "ooooohhh" like a monkey noise when i ordered rognons at a restaurant
Bokkoms (sort of like fish jerkey), it's heavily salted mullet fish left to dry in the sun for a week. You have to peel the skin off to be able to eat it. It's very common to see them being hung around farmstalls and you can smell them from kilometers away

I have no idea what the species is called, maybe someone interested in taxonomy here might recognize it
This covers it but i noticed that they also add a whole chili or fermented chili https://nomadicthechef.wordpress.com/2011/12/18/ghoulal-moroccan-snails-soup/
For liver we either have this https://youtu.be/KUtb_gXPFwk
Or boulfaf which is a holiday dish, it's more basic (liver and heart and lungs grilled a first time then wrapped in sheep fat then grilled another time and seasoned)
Grilled mice.
I haven't the chance to try this either because the mice need to be a specific clean type which lives in rice fields and feed on rice, not the dirty rat type which feed on garbage.

looks like mediterranean coastal snails
whichever subspecies lives in morroco
I couldn't imagine eating snails without anything other than garlic and butter
is that soup good?

It's amazing, it's also the main reason why tourists or locals buy the thing (you can also buy it by itself), i prefer to eat the whole thing doe

Snails are good but they are an ass to clean and prepare and then eat...
We eat murex here as sea snails, we also used to eat those smaller sea snails but they are protected now, they were much better than murex, which is a bottom feeder...
