Most people have no sense of critical thinking whatsoever so they see a wikipedia page for PPP and a video of central Chengdu and suddenly think China is paradise

I think China could do better on being respectful towards others.
I imagine much of the dislike comes is due to them acting like assholes. I think if they took a chill pill, they would be more respected. Obviously, that would require some massive compromises on their side and I don't think they'll accept that.
I think the geopolitics between China and the world (or maybe just the West) makes friendship difficult. I think there is a fundamental differences between the groups are too much, which cause tensions that we are seeing today.
Despite that, I still want China to succeed and prosper. Whether that's with the existing CCP, reformed CCP, a different governance isn't my call. I simply wish they do better in making the world better.
