That's why Italians in the New World usually worked in trade or whatever other services. Meanwhile Poles could only work as either peasants or factory workers.
Poles are culturally unable to take a risk and run their own business where you need to take responsibility for your decisions and prepare a long-term plan (unlike Meds, Semites or Asians). Even so-called "Polish shops" in western Europe are mostly run by Arabs.
Poles can work hard but they prefer to work under someone else's supervision, if you tell them what needs to be done from A to Z then they will do this. But don't expect them to figure it out themselves, this nation has zero innovativeness and it can be easily seen in innovation rankings or the (negligible) number of successful companies started here.
