Tongva are almost the same as the Chumash, Morongo and Yaamava. Their culturally very similar and have mutually intelligible languages. Except the latter three were semi-westernized by the Spanish/Mexicans and were considered more "civil" after the state became part of the US, so they're better off nowadays. Also having casino money helps a lot too. The Yaamava and Morongo remind me of native American versions of Saudis.
