This entire argument is retarded. Both sides are people who can't cook.
On one side you have the people who think good cooking means drowning your food in as many spices and seasonings as possible until everything tastes the same. On the other side are people who see cooking as an inconvenience and never season anything due to a combination of laziness and lack of knowledge.

The purpose of spices and seasonings and to enhance the natural flavors of the ingredients and create a specific taste that otherwise wouldn't be achievable with just the ingredients themselves. Every culture has its own flavor parings that have arisen over centuries of trade and local preferences.
All of you ITT need to take a step back from your computers and learn to practice self control. Stop being so angry all the time and maybe you'll stop constantly falling for the lowest effort ragebait on the internet.

>Unseasoned chicken is just bland
It's a matter of quality, here we also have tons of cheap supermarket chicken (notably from Ukraine) for the pleb and indeed if you don't season it it's basically proteined cardboard, but if you pay the price you'll get something really tasty by itself.
