You sign a contract with a company that you'll study and work for them, then for 3 years you alternatingly spend 3 months at school and 3 months at the company doing intern labour. At the end you get a bachelor's degree, and usually it's easy to get hired at the company afterwards, sometimes they're even contractually obligated to give you a job offer afterwards. And throughout the entire time, even when you're at school, you get paid a wage (albeit it's only what you'd earn working part time at minimum wage)
