There's a kebab literal fucking shack on a literal fucking parking lot that serves the best kebab I've ever eaten. They're becoming a franchise from their success.
In France, outside Alsace & Moselle (bordering Germany), they call the kebab "a Greek". Usually the "Greek" is fucking nasty and greasy, but here in Alsace our Turks making OG kebabs are considered masters of the craft.

It's way overrated. The meat is almost always mystery meat unless you buy a super posh version, but then what's even the point? It's supposed to be cheap.
The bread is hit and miss. In 1/10 cases you might find a spot where they bake their own and it's really good. In others spots its mass produced bread and it's meh.

The garlic sauce is nice, but most don't have it.
The sumac spice is also not adding much.

The ingredients are fresh. The meat especially is fresh, which is almost a rare occurence in the kebab market. With a mildly spicy sauce the recipe is perfect, trust me. I don't even like aubergines usuallly.
But that's their original special recipe. They still make normal kebabs.
