If you want to play CS2 on a competitive level without cheats you need a very beefy CPU and preferably a Pajeetzen with the x3d suffix.
It's a more demanding game than your average AAA title which is perfectly fine to run on DLSS with 60fps.

Well yes that's true, as a budget gamer however I was kinda surprised by the cost a new motherboard, DDR5 ram and then the CPU.

In general - yes - but for CS2 you really get a big advantage if you run the latest and greatest.

It would take years for me to buy even a used GTX 1080 without buying food or paying bills. I guess most of us here just get 10 year old PC and hope for the best integrated graphics could run the game.

If you see people bitching about hardware performances in modern games then it's guaranteed to be a third worlder complaining that his 750ti can't run the newest AAA game. I have a 650w EVGA g3 gold plus psh so I want a small case which supports ATX PSUs, I've seen one which I don't remember the name of and it comes from several different brands with different names
I also want to play GTA 6 when it comes out which means another like 600€ minimum for a PS5 and the game

I have AMD Radeon RX590. Honestly, I can play Warhammer 3, Cyberpunk, WoW, ESO, Conan Exiles, Baldur's Gate 3. For stuff like Oblivion Remastered, STALKER 2, GTA 6 whenever it icomes out, I'll need a new PC, but this works for now.
