We always make the "government debt ratio should not be higher than 60% of GDP" thing.

Even if we have a debt ratio that's lower than 60% we evaluate our currency so that debt I can usd and euro makes the whole thing go 1% over 60. And thus that's the only criteria we don't meet so EU can't force us.

I think Sweden does the same.

it doesnt matter anyway. All EU countries and EFTA countries follow the euro rates almost 1-to-1 with very tiny room to differ. Euro moves more than their currency moves by itself. Its pretty much like the Danish thing, except not literally written down

the 60% is not strict and Sweden does not use that. You need to join ERM II which the country needs to do themselves and if they dont join they cannot join the euro and its basically a loophole. Sweden is required to join, but it doesnt join the ERM II so it cannot join
