There were rainbow crosswalks painted outside one of the hospitals in my city. They are so worn down now it's only apparent they were rainbow colored by the areas next to the curb where cars don't drive. No attempt appears to be made to repaint these. Evidently the fatigue goes a ways up the hospital admin ladder. The real test is when the crosswalks need to be repainted. Will the rainbows be renewed or switched back to standard white lines?
