On his behalf
not an exact number but probably less than 100,000 cumulative.
Hydrogen is still in the experimental stage and there are not terribly many filling stations.
EVs were popular for a while thanks to government subsidies, but with the rising cost of electricity in Japan, the number of purchases is plummeting.
And the amount of subsidies is going down.

Wealthy people will choose Toyota or Audi EVs if they are worried about breakdowns and safety.

Scandinavians who are promoting EVs seem to be buying fewer EVs, in part because of declining subsidies.
Instead, they seem to be switching to less risky car leasing.
I laughed when I heard that they are burning wood to heat their homes in winter because of the rising cost of electricity.

>Buying EVs in areas where gasoline is expensive to transport
This is understandable.
But there is no way people in those areas can afford a Tesla or a German car, they will choose a BYD, which is made cheaper. So.
That is probably what is driving up EV sales.

Tesla was briefly leading ahead of Japanese car makers in Car OS, but unfortunately, Toyota has already caught up with them with Arene OS. Even more unfortunate for Tesla, car sensors and cameras are all supplied by Japanese makers, and they are now weaponizing Edge AI rapidly. You'll see all of this in Sony's upcoming car and realize how Japan is ahead in these fields.

Also, when one out of every four cars in the world is an EV, power shortages will become a problem.
We must first develop nuclear power first, which will not break even if a nuclear bomb is dropped on it and will not produce waste.

Yeah, we're good with nuclear power so no worries here. In fact we were the first to give that tech to you guys back in the 1945 if I remember correctly. Yet another advance tech we shared with Japan!
