Which African country is the best to live in?

Algeria has the highest HDI and having been the other North African countries I believe it to be the best to live in. Although being non-touristy it generally flies under the radar so I can't expect most people to know this.
Haven't been to Sub-Saharan Africa but I doubt it's any better. Maybe if you're white and rich in South Africa it's great, but I'm talking about the average person's experience.

I've been to Mauritius twice and it was the most jeet infested shithole I had ever seen in my entire life. All the people were speaking Indian and all the radios were Indian and everything smelled like shit and you couldnt buy meat or alcohol without a 500% upcharge, its a tourist trap run by hindus
